United Airlines Merchandise Fall Guide 2018

United Mileage Plus members (the rewards program for United Airlines) can use their miles to redeem for United Airlines flights but also have the opportunity to use their miles to purchase great merchandise options though the Merchandise Awards Website at www.United.com/fallguide2018.  Chase Card members who have the United Mileage Plus Card are eligible for preferred pricing when shopping through the merchandise.  For customers who have not had the chance to use their miles for travel, the merchandise store is a great option to put your miles to use which may otherwise not be used for awhile.  If there is a specific piece of merchandise you are interested in you can check what the retail value of the item is through Google Shopping or Amazon and then compare this to the total miles necessary to redeem your item – this will give you an idea of the cash equivalent.

There are many items to choose from but their are also exclusive items which are separate from the main merchandise listing.  When getting to the main landing page you will see the available items for all customers but when you navigate to the exclusive offers link you can then view card member exclusive and Premier level exclusives.  Once you are logged in to your account you will be able to view your miles balance and you can sort items based on the total miles they require to show only items which your balance will cover.  Popular items include:

When using reward program points one of the most important things to consider is what is the best value available for point redemption.  As discussed above, you can easily determine the approximate value of your merchandise by comparing the price where it is available elsewhere.  With this in mind, if there is a particular travel idea you are interested in, you can check to see the miles cost of that flight.  Comparing the miles value for redemption is the best way to decide what is the best use of your points but there is also something to be said of getting some great merchandise if you have a lot of United Miles and do not plan on using them for travel in the near future!
