PenFed Credit Union customers can sign up for online banking allowing them to manage many aspects of their accounts online.  Having access to your account from your computer is a simple way to stay on top of your finances and many your budget.  In addition to your banking account, you can also manage loan accounts you may have with PenFed Credit Union.  Once you are logged in to your account you can select the account you would like to view – if you are viewing a banking account (checking or savings) you will have access to recent transactions, current balances and recent deposits/withdrawals.  If you are viewing a loan account you can manage your payment settings, view current balances, and recent payments which have been processed.

Details Regarding PenFed Credit Union and Account Access:

• Accessing your PenFed account online will require customers to register their account for online access – once your account is set up you can log in 24/7 using your username and password setup during registration
• Setting up an online account for the first time can be completed online but PenFed account holders will need to verify their information using their Member Number, Security Code, and birth month
• PenFed uses a two-way, two-step authentication process when setting up an account and logging in which facilitates security to prevent unauthorized access
• If you are not a PenFed member you can determine if you are eligible for membership by providing some basic contact information – if eligible your account can then be set up online

PenFed membership provides access to all of their banking and financial services including the option to apply for credit cards offered through PenFed.  Military service is not a prerequisite for membership and if your membership is approved you can begin enjoy all of the membership benefits provided by PenFed.  More and more consumers are moving from large banks to credit unions and consumers can shop around to see which credit union or bank set fulfills their financial needs.
