- On December 22nd of 2015 the lawsuit was extended to members of the class action to submit a claim through June 2nd, 2016
- This lawsuit addresses an overheating issue which occurred in Whirlpool, KitchenAid and Kenmore branded dish washing machines

Many members of class action lawsuits receive a postcard in the mail indicating that they may be eligible to submit a claim. If you purchased a dishwasher made by Whirlpool, KitchenAid, or Kenmore you may be a member of this class action suit. The entire model numbers and applicable serial numbers have been released as part of the court documents. The settlement for this lawsuit will be issued as a rebate towards the purchase of a new dishwasher, ranging from 10-20% of the total purchase price. All claims must be submitted by June 2nd, 2016.
How to File a Claim:
- Filing a claim may differ depending on whether you have received notice of a potential claim from your dishwasher manufacturer
- If you have received a claim number you can file a claim online or print a form through the class action lawsuit website and mail in your claim information
- If you have not received a claim number you can still file a claim through the class action lawsuit website or by printing a claim form and mailing in your claim information
- To file a claim you will need to provide your basic contact information as well as the model number and serial number of the dishwasher you purchased
